Change Attributes

Hi,

For a Project I am doing at work I made mutliple electrical drawings. I created a Block with a layout and attributes with basic information as name, location, engineer etc etc. Now I have like 30 drawings with the same block.

Now on all the drawings is the status: For Execution. But I want to change this to AS-Built and I have to do this all manually. Is there a Way in which I can change an attribute on 30 drawings at once so I don't have to do it mannualy for all 30 drawings?

Questions:

1.What’s the name of the block

2.What’s the tag name of the attribute that needs to show  AS-Built

3.Are all these dwgs in the same folder or separate folder locations

Of course you can. There is a command to find and replace text. But the correct method is different:

1. You need to go to the properties of the dwg drawing and create a custom property (_DWGPROPS). For example, name it "Status". However, the standard drawing properties may be enough for you.

2. You need to go to the block editor (_bedit) and in the properties of your attribute, replace the default value with a FIELD referring to the drawing property. The fields are updated automatically. As soon as you change the drawing property, all attributes will immediately replace their values. (You may need to set up automatic field updates)
