Work is gone

I opened a file in autocad (about 2 weeks after I had last opened it) and all of my work is gone. There is absolutely nothing in the work space. I checked my revision history and it has nothing except for the day I made the file. I have no clue what happened and I NEED to restore this file because it's for a huge project in class. Please help!

Is there a .bak file next to it, try changing the .bak file to a .dwg file?

I tried that and it didn't work because the .bak file also had nothing in it

Maybe when you finished drawing,
The file was closed without saving.

The * in the picture below is very important.

How big is the filesize?

IF there is nothing, there is no reason why you can't share the file, share it!

Check your recent files list.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Hello @rmgalla

Where was your drawing saved? Locally on the computer’s hard drive? On the school’s server? Thumb drive? Cloud? Somewhere else?
