I am using AutoCAD 2022. But I guess other versions may have the same issue.
Let's say I started a new drawing, which only has Layer 0.
I open the Layer Manager and create 3 new layers "New Chair", "New Door" and "New Wall".
Then I choose Layer 0. Then I press "N" in the keyboard. It is supposed to jump to Layer "New Chair" which is the first "N" in alphabetical order. But it leads me to "New Door", which is the second "N". I've tested other layer names and it seems AutoCAD always jumps to the second item when you press the first letter. For example, among Layer "T1", "T2" and "T3", when you press "T" it goes to "T2" instead of "T1".
Does it always do this or I missed some stories?

Not just that. It jumps to every other line. I guess it's some sort of TURBO mode.
/can't test any other than 2022 here/

It's simply a Bug,
share it with AutoDESK.

In case of AutoDESK, that is also possible ![]()
