create a block that could be linked to a live section that changes as my model changes?

I would like to know if there is a way that I could create a block that could be linked to a live section that changes as my model changes.

Ed,

When I run this command and then modify my model, the block does not adjust as I am trying to accomplish.

I would suggest using VIEW objects. On the context-sensitive Layout palette tab, 1. Create a BASE view and then 2. Create a SECTION view. These will update as the modelspace entity updates.
