No text visible

no matter what i do no text is visible on the drawing.

with "text" or "mtext" it just doesnt show.

the text is there if i select it but does not show, even if i change the text height to larger, there is still nothing

other drawings work great.

Hi @madisalbert,
Use Command QSELECT to see if that text is there but just hiding.
If that doesn't work, please post your drawing.

I suggest to check your current layer status ( On / Off ) .

In addition to the possibility that the Layer you drew the Text on is turned off [yes, the current Layer can be, though it's hard to do by accident], there's the possibility that it was hidden by either the HIDEOBJECTS or ISOLATEOBJECTS command.  Try UNISOLATEOBJECTS, which will re-reveal things hidden by both those commands.

You can also check if the texts are annotative texts and if the 'Show annotation objects' button is on.

... or the text has the same color as the background?

Post an example dwg file an we will see what is going wrong.
