Open folder background

I have my background in File Explorer and browsers dark.  I have a dark theme in AutoCAD also, but the Open File/Folder dialogue box has the background as bright white.  Is there any way to adjust this?  It's headache inducing.

Aren't most dialog boxes in AutoCAD also white? Or do you only open those specific ones?

FWIW AutoCAD can only control colors found in OPTIONS command's Display>Colors button.

Well, my Dynamic Block parameter selections box is dark grey.  The Insert Block and Edit Att boxes are light grey.   I don't know of any other dialogue boxes that have a large white background and the Open file being especially large so that file date and whatnot can be seen.    Right, that's how I have my dark themes in AutoCAD... command line, paperspace color, etc.  Oh well...

So I have the same settings and choices as you in Windows10 and AutoCAD (I think), and almost all pop-ups in AutoCAD are not black or dark backgrounds either.

Palettes (except ADC) seem to follow the dark scheme options very well too, just like you observed, but they are not pop-ups.

Have you noticed other programs also have this no-dark issue in Windows set to dark scheme?

Good question and No, for instance Acrobat has a dark grey field and in opening a file, the dialogue box background is black.  In Paint, the open file box background  is also black like my File Explorer.  It's not a biggie with Acad but a curiosity.  Maybe I just will avoid Open in the program and use File Exp.
