Hi,
I've added annotative dims in model space that do not appear in paper space. Both annotative scale and viewport are the same and the layer is thawed in the viewport. Moving the dimensions to another layer that is switched on doesn't change anything. The odd thing is, if I switch to paperspace and enter the viewport, I can add a dimension that remains visible.
Any idea what I'm missing? Thanks for any advice.

Hi,
I suggest to check ANNOALLVISIBLE = 1 and/or from Layer Properties dialog check VP Freeze tab .

Thank you so much! That’s exactly what I needed.
But seriously, why does AutoCAD have so many confusing functions?

AutoCAD has many many controls and options, a lot: like a huge amount. They can be confusing if you don't have the time to look them all up (or at least know how to look them up in the equally confusing HELP in the program).

Yeah, I feel like they add a bunch of new things every year, while also keeping a lot of the old stuff(or even every single one). It makes everything confusing.
