trying to make a 2d wireframe elevation block of a coordinated model
A customer has sent me an NMD file that was produced with plant3d and prosteel.
I have installed the enablers to view plant3d and prosteel objects in AutoCAD.
I can now view this 3d Navisworks model in cad, however i would like to do a flatshot or similar of plan, elevation and end view of this model.
can it be done?
Also with Navisworks becoming the file type that many customers use to share their models, is AutoDesk doing anything to enable us to work with them in CAD?
sorry i cant share the file given to me by my customer

1) No one here is Autodesk. Contact a reseller in your region to find out if there is anything in the works from Autodesk that they announced yet or not if you cannot find the info online.
2) You most likely need to be using Plant3D, free for anyone with an active AutoCAD subscription https://www.autodesk.com/products/autocad/included-toolsets/autocad-plant-3d
3) or you really need to be using Prosteel with P3D as well. Ask the file creators for tips and ideas.
