Can anyone tell me the list of executables running during an ACAD operation?
So we're trying to do some troubleshooting to determine what elements might be causing our program to go awry. When ACAD runs there's always those little background executables that also activate. We're attempting to setup Ship Constructor and things aren't working. As far as we can tell its some company wide security feature that's blocking something else and I don't know exactly how to pinpoint what it could be as we're not getting data on what is or is not being blocked. So does anyone have a list of what all is running/runs (ie maybe something happens when the program closes or talks to a server)?

AutoCAD has no ability to fix or workaround "company wide security feature", that is something or your IT to help you out with.

Ship Constructor is an application that sits on top of autocad (kind of like how Mechanical Desktop did) specifically designed for ships. Ships are in a world all their own in terms of CAD needs and we do naval architecture. We just ponied up the cash for Ship Constructor licenses and we can't really use them. SC works (I hear, haven't used it yet) a lot like Vault, needing it's own server structure. Not being IT people we're trying to determine what's happening so we can respond to IT as to what we need done (That's just the way it is, we largely have to do our own IT work). The question asked of me was what executables are running in the background when we run Autocad, hoping it's as simple as allowing some permission.

Do you know the >>Process Monitor<<? Using this tool you can watch the "background" activities while a program is running.
An example (in german language) how to watch what happens while the Inventor Start process you can see >>here<<.
