Good day
We've been batch plotting engineering drawings to PDF with AutoCAD 2017 without issues, but have recently transitioned to 2022. No matter what we do, it takes 2min per drawing (compared to roughly 15 seconds with 2017). We import a standardized drawing with all the types of PDF styles we use (A3 or A0 etc), and generated a similar one for 2022. But no matter what PDF printer we use (Cutepdf/dwg to pdf, microsoft pdf) it makes no difference to the timescale. Sometimes it runs for 24hrs and doesn't complete the last couple of drawings.
Has anyone had similar issues?

AutoCAD for publishing always uses AutoCAD PDF (General Documentation).pc3
Only this printer, no matter which printer you choose.
This printer has a very high print quality by default.
Therefore, the files are very large and it takes a long time to make them.
Change the print quality to 600 dpi.

You are trying to change the publish settings, but this does not affect the quality.
The quality is set in the printer settings.
You need to change the settings in the AutoCAD PDF (General Documentation).pc3 printer

Thank you everyone. The problem turned out to be publishing in background was checked on. It was on in the past with 2017 and didn't give issues, but now it did.
