P&ID Drawing on AutoCAD
Are you able to use AutoCAD to draw P&ID or do you need an extra add-on to do this. If you are able to draw P&IDs on just AutoCAD where do you find the P&ID tool pallette so that you can input P&ID symbols into the drawing.

The correct answer for the tool pallet.
Look here for Autodesk's P&ID:

@Liam.Wilson8QVA7 AutoCAD has a specific version for piping design which is called AutoCAD Plant 3D, it has a P&ID module and a 3D module (including isometric drawings and BoM functionality). And it comes with a library of P&ID symbols (ISO, PIP, ANSI, ...) which you can modify and personalize.
You do not need to buy this software separately, if you have an active licence for AutoCAD (not LT), then you can also download and install the Plant 3D version. Go to your Autodesk desktop app or your manage.autodesk.com portal to find and download it from there.
