Yes, that works the same for me.   

 

What I am trying to do is draw a rectangle inside an existing rectangle.  But with the work I do I often don't know the height of the existing rectangle.

 

So I want start a rectangle by snapping on the top right of the existing rectangle.  Then entering a width of new rectangle with the keyboard...   Tab...  Then snap the endpoint of the existing rectangle for the height.  But when I do this it doesn't actually set the height of my new rectangle to match the existing.  It shows that I snap the endpoint, but it doesn't actually work.  I now have to stretch the bottom of the new rectangle so it matches the height of the existing triangle.  I'd really like to avoid having to do this extra step.
