Execl Sheet Text Width

Hi,

I am looking for a solution that I can change the width of text on the Excel sheet that I paste into AutoCad, I am using 2014.

By using the Paste Special function to link the table from Excel, I have been looking for a method to change the width of text at ONCE but indivisually.

The only way I know is the explode the table into TEXT type and change one of them and MatchProperty the rest of them.

But this is missing the point of link to Execl Sheet.

Hopefully anyone can help me on this, thanks!!

Linus

Have you created a custom Table Style for use by the linked Excel data?

Honestly I don't know but I don't think so either. So basicall I just select the area on Excel sheet and copy it then go to CAD and paste special.

Thanks for your reply. So you have the solution for it??

The reason for asking is because the Table Style that is current when you use the "Paste Special function to link the table from Excel" to an AutoCAD Table determines what text style(s) is(are) used.  If you study up on Table Styles, I think it will become clear.

By the way, if you describe in more detail the exact procedure you are using and the result you hope to achieve, it may be easier for me and others to advise you.  There may be alternative methods that will give better results.
