array path

hi there

I got a difficult process that object couldn't perfectly be "arraypath" at the curved surface. Please see pictures with text below:

picture_1:array object → the rectangles are what going to do "arraypath"

picture_2:the resault →  few rectangles are floated above the target.

picture_3:the purpose → as the picture shown, how do I make rectangles to be aligned somehow.

@Anonymous ,

 

The "Surface Array" is a feature only of Autodesk Alias and is yet to be available in AutoCAD

 

However, by using the Array command and selecting the centroid of the object (by using the "Base point" option), you object will array along the curve - see video link.

Note: you may have to adjust your array object if your objective is to extrude afterward.
