Converting PDF to DWG not working

When importing PDF into AutoCAD, the pdf converts as a image. My concern is the PDF has too low resolution or PDF may have embedded securities to not be able to convert.

Is there another solution to convert the PDF to a .dwg format?

Hello SaladHead22,

Other solutions are just 3rd party software which you can Google, but using AutoCAD import is the best option.

How to convert a PDF to a DWG in AutoCAD

Another solution is to attach the PDF thru xref::

Is your PDF a Scan?  or is an image actually embedded in the PDF?

Converting to drawing objects really requires a vector based PDF to get something remotely usable,  Any other flavor of PDF  is probably best handled using the PDF as a background and drawing on top if it with lines, polylines, etc.
