I was working on a file using burst and explode. I saved it several times. When I went from model space to paper space all of the attribute information had be bursted out and was visible. The drawing is a mess. Mind you I had gone around the building bursting/exploding blocks/text and also deleting the attribute info as I went along. Now it is present in both paper and model space. ALSO, the bursted blocks are now gray but the color is back in some of the blocks. So now I have gray bursted and magenta blocks. ALSO, in some locations the magenta ones do not sit on top of the gray ones in the same location. Some are further apart; some are just a smidge apart. And in some areas the match perfectly. But this overlap is so random, it does fit a simple shift one way or the other. Mind you I saved as I went about the whole process several times. Any ideas????
I also received this error during the whole process and I could not use BURST but kept getting this error. I closed down and came back in and could use burst again.
"cannot invoke (command) from *error* without prior call to (*push-error-using-command*). Converting command calls to (command-s) is recommended"
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I am not familiar with this error but see it is generally related to custom scripts. One forum post mentioned a problem with using the command function in an error handler.
Are you using any customizations, add-ons, or LISP routines? If you are the members of the Customizations forums community would be more familiar with it. See AutoCAD Customization.
The following Forums thread is older but provides more information on the specific error: Prior call to (*push-error-using-command*)

Burst is an express tool, written in the 1990's. The error you are getting is typical in recent versions of AutoCAD when an older error handler attempts to use the command function, probably to do an undo end. The command function is no longer supported inside an error handler. See "About Express Tools"
I'm wondering though why you are destroying potentially valuable content in your drawing by exploding and bursting. Is this part of a plan to export to another CAD system or to disable the CAD file in some way so that it can't be changed by others? If so, be sure to keep a usable copy.
