Text different between our drawings and vendor drawings

We are using 2021, I am a normal ACADE user but have a text question.  I use standard notes normally, I pasted them into a vendor drawing and they were looking weird.  To test, I open a new drawing, copy those notes from the vendor drawings to our normal template and they look fine.  As you can see in the image there is 1 note where the FURNISH looks different than the note above it even though they are both ROMANS and .0938 size.  I am just not too familiar with this so hoping someone has some suggestions for me to look at.

Thank you for the help.

Thomas, your image was not uploaded.

Sometimes in MTEXT the style/font of the text can be different from the actual defined text style.  Open the text and highlight/select the word and the font will be shown.  That may not be the case here

And, meant to press reply not accept.....I did open the text and highlight them and they both say ROMANS and .0938

Yeah, check the properties in both mtexts, looks like one is actually bigger than the other

Check the character width too - on the text formatting bar it's the last drop down on the right

Highlighting them both and displaying the properties shows that most everything is the same except the contents and position.

The character width in the 2nd note is 1.00, and in the first note it is 0.800.  Change them both to 1.00 or 0.800

Oh, I kind of thought that was in the properties tool bar, I didn't actually use the drop-down in the formatting panel.  Sorry to be a little dense, just anything outside of electrical I flounder a little bit.  Thank you for the great help.

No problem, glad I could help.  Tons of things I don't know in ACAD!
