Text is moved after exporting from the Inventor

Hi,

Does anyone know why my text in the welding symbol moves after exporting from Autodesk Inventor?

This is a screenshot from Inventor 2021 drawing.

When export that in dwg, this welding symbol becomes a block in AutoCAD.
I use AutoCAD 2020 on the same machine, and everything looks ok.

But when this is opened on another computer in AutoCAD LT 2021 it looks like this...

The text climbed to the symbol line...
Does anyone know why?

Thank you

Hi,

could be because the font used is not found?

When you open this file do you see something like font not found / font replacing?

Hi Alfred,
I thought about it and set up the same font in Inventor.
It is Txt font.

And I think it is the same in AutoCAD.

LT missing an OE than you have installed in AutoCAD?
Or LT has a different definitions for TXT.SHX?

Hi,

if Inventor exports this as MTEXT, is the height and are the other properties the same?

Can you reproduce this with other Inventor projects too ... and with other Inventor-symbols?

AFAIK there is no easy way inside the programs, but you can check your Windows Installed software list to compare since these are two separate computers.

Hi @Alfred.NESWADBA

Yes, it is an MText inside of Block.

Well, It is the same size if we observe in relation to page size.

In Inventor it is a text height of 0.125in but in AutoCAD, this is the properties...

I will try with other symbols...to see what happens.

Hi,

>> I will try with other symbols

And if it's not too much effort ... try it with an TrueTypeFont too (like Arial).

Hi @Alfred.NESWADBA ,
You are correct.
The problem seems to be in the font.
Everything looks good with Arial.

Thank you
