Creating views of frames along walkway
I have done this in the past, but now I'm struggling to remember how I did it.... Hope someone can give me the right pointers.
I have a 3d model of a walkway following a curve. There are frames along the walkway of various sizes.
I want to take perpendicular views of each frame, without the ones behind or in front of it visible (ie clipped). I will then end up with several named views, and I can apply each view to a viewport in paperspace.
Can someone give me a clue how to achieve this? I know it's not that hard, I'm just struggling to remember the process.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that, but that's way too involved for my needs (and abilities).
I had been trying to do the following:
Orientate UCS to be perp to frame, create view based on that (using plan,c) and then trying to adjust the clipping planes in the named view dialogue box. But I just couldn't get the clipping planes to work properly through the dialogue box.
I have since tried orientating UCS to be perp to frame, then using 3d clip to adjust the clipping frames. This seems to be working for me now, hopefully. Thanks again.
