Annotative Scale on Metric Drawing and 11"x17" Paper size

Hi Friends,

I have a drawing prepared in metric units (mm). On paperspace I have 17" x 11" paper and want to plot a portion of drawing on scale 1:100. What annotative scale should I set up in a model space.

Why you have a different units use ( dwg units vs paper size ) ? there is NO need for that !!

Is there any annotative objects in your drawing ? i mean have you use any Annotation scale in your drawing like for Dimstyle , Text , Blocks ...etc ? annotation scale usually used for other scales especially that we always draw at 1:100 scale and depending on dwg units .

Since you want to plot on scale 1:100 , there is NO need to change your annotative scale . keep it as it's .

In paperspace, you always plot at 1:1 scale: your viewport in paperpsace is the only thing that needs to be at your desired 1:100 scale.

Do you understand the difference? If not, ask your instructor for guidance or post your DWG file here for someone to examine your work if you wish.
