I recently started a new project where I have to draw with JIC symbol instead of IEC symbols.
I know that in autocad electrical you can just change you project settings but unfortunatly this is not a autocad electrical poject.
Does anyone know where I can find/download the JIC symbols?

Hi,
I need to use the symbols in the standerd version of autocad and not in autocad electrical thats why I asked here.
Because I know where to find them in the autocad electrical version.

What exactly are you having trouble with? You should be able to use them as blocks, right?
Rob
Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

I am having trouble with finding a place where I can obtain the blocks of the symbols.
The IEC symbols I already have in my library because it is our company standard.
But for this new project they want us to use the JIC symbols but we do not have these in our library yet.

You said that you know where to find them. I'm confused? Do you have Electrical or not?

I know how to find them in autocad electrical but for this project and the way our client wants the drawings to be set up we are not using autocad electrical.
So now I need the JIC symbol bolcks that I can use in the regular autocad.

Why can't you use the ones from Electrical? Are they not symbol blocks?
Why don't you just do the project in electrical and export it when submitting to the client?

I have now obtained the symbols by exporting them from the autocad electrical map:
C:\Autodesk\AutoCAD_Electrical_2020_English_Win_64bit_dlm\x64\AcadeContent\PF\Root\Acade\LibZips
At first I thought this wouldn`t work because these are autocad electrical blocks but this wasn`t the case after all.

Your welcome. Glad you could use what I said, change the wording, and mark as your solution.
