Table Data Missing or wrong Location
Hi all
I need an urgent help. I am trying to paste some data from exls to Auto CAD. when I am pasting the data to Auto CAD (Pate special, Auto Cad Entities) the table format is changing, data missing and some datas are in wrong location. The problem is only in my system. I am using Civil 3D 2020 as Auto CAD. I tried in both Civil 3D and Auto CAD. But result is same. The same file is working fine with other systems and different versions including Auto CAD 2020.any ideas for fixing this issue. CAD and image files are attached.
Thanks

it's work fine with me and in the same CAD dwg file . try in another new dwg file and see if any changes . i suggest to close your AutoCAD and check updates from your Autodesk Desktop App .

I Know it will work for you. ( that i already mentioned in the post, i checked with different systems and different versions of auto cad. a new file ( .xls and CAD) in my system, re start... etc...) that kind of exercise i did. i am looking for a solution to fix this in my system. any system variable can fix it..?

Try the files in the attached zip. I set a named range in the excel file to match the table, (after clearing the print area) then created a data link to that range from within the dwg file. Next was create the table from the datalink.
See if this works for you.

Thanks for your reply. But it seems same to me problem not fixed. using data link already it was working without any modification in that exls file. but i wish to bring that tables from exls by paste special option as Auto cad entities. the reason is i have hundreds of CAD files that includes an exls file. the native exls file is not available. so every time i should right click and open OLE and i can copy paste from there. but for doing a data link i should save as all of that tables as an exls file... right ? I noticed that this problem happening in only my system. any system variable or any other settings can fix this issue.

Sorry, but I think I am out of ideas....I have never had much luck with "pastespecial as ACAD entities" method, and the static image, whether embedded or x-ref'd, method a) doesn't update, and b) plots in rather poor quality. The method I outlined is the only one that has worked reliably for me (in my workflows) updating as needed, and being easily editable and/or replaceable when someone out there (sales, customers, etc) changes the game plan.
I will sometimes have multiple named ranges within a single xls file tied to several tables in a dwg, sometimes multiple xls files. If the excel files aren't where ACAD is looking for them, and the path(s) aren't available, the tables won't update. Fortunately, since I manage the files, I rarely encounter this issue. One thing to be aware of: you can only use a name once in a file. Each range, datalink, etc between each dwg/xls "pairing/grouping" has to have a unique name, otherwise things will get confused or simply not work.
Did you test @imadHabash 's suggestion(s)?
