Open Multiple files at once

Does anyone know a way to open a set of drawings at once instead of selecting the individual files.

OPEN command inside AutoCAD will let you select individual or a select few (hold CTRL key down as you click on individual) or all DWG files in a folder (pick top file, then SHIFT key then select the bottom one): is that what you are looking for?

Or do you need to use Windows Explorer OPEN feature after you select the files you want in the same exact way as described above?

Or something else?

In Windows Explorer, use the Shift or Ctrl keys to make your multiple selection, then drag+drop those files onto the AutoCAD title bar, or command line (not in the drawing area).

Clarification, I would like to be able run or open a batch file that remembers the path and opens multiple files without having to locate and open them

Is it possible to create a folder that acts as a "host" and then just create shortcuts for each drawing file in the host folder?
