VIEWBASE Line Colours
Afternoon,
I'm not sure if this is even possible using VIEWBASE, but thought this would be the place to find out. We are a scaffolding firm and use AutoCad 3D to generate models of our scaffolds. Before using 3D, we would assign various parts of the scaffold different colours (by layer) i.e bracing would be red, boards would be brown, etc.
Now that we have moved over to 3D, assigning the colours and materials is fine when in the 3D model itself, however it's when we go to plot the model into a 2D layout drawing we have problems. VIEWBASE is the go to command as it allows sections and details very easily which is perfect. However, none of the assigned layer colours are showing up in the viewbase view, and when I choose the "Shaded" option as the view, the colours come out very odd (grey and light blue).
Does anyone know if we can show the layers colours on the VIEWBASE views? Or do I need to use viewports or some other command to show this?
Thank you in advance for any help.
Rory
