My Text is Too Small. How Do I Fix It?

I am drawing an object in AutoCAD 2016 and must include text for instruction. However, after typing in my text, it shrinks down to microprint. How do I get it to normal size?

I first encountered this problem with dimension lines, but to solve the problem, I simply had to go to manage dimension styles, then modify, and adjust the scale to 25.4.

Again, I encountered this problem with leaders but solved the problem by doing the same as above (but for leaders), adjusting the scale to 15 to achieve a close-to-equal size (the scale of leaders vs dimension lines is not the same).

So, now that I have encountered this problem with text, I assumed I would have to simply adjust the scale through the same meathod as above, but I cannot find and option to adjust the scale.

I am working in milimeters. I am sure the answer is simple, but please be patient.

Are you managing the text size in the TEXT STYLE?

Yes, text style is what I was attempting to use. I see there, I can adjust text height, which seemingly does nothing. I adjusted it to 100 and got nothing. Width factor does do something, but simply multiplies the width, of course.

It is not particularly the text height which I am attempting to amplify; it is the overall text which I am attempting to amplify.

I apologize for any misspellings, I am in a considerable hurry today.

I have included a screenshot. The white blob is the text which I wish to bring to normal size.

Are you using the STYLE that you edited to 100?
Are you using TEXT or DTEXT or MTEXT commands, or something else for this "text"?
What text size and sizes are being used with the leaders I see? Does MATCHPROP fix it if you pick one of those then your tiny text?

There are two text modes:
Font assignment with a fixed height greater than 0 (zero) and
Font assignment with a fixed height of 0 (zero).
Each of these behave differently when editing.

Look into TEXTSIZE and DIMTXT when fonts are assigned to 0 height
otherwise assign a fixed height greater than zero.

TEXTSIZE
Sets the default height for new text objects drawn with the current text style. TEXTSIZE has no effect if the current text style has a fixed height.

DIMTXT
Specifies the height of dimension text, unless the current text style has a fixed height.

>>I can adjust text height, which seemingly does nothing.

Not to existing text objects, however dimensions will update via
command -DIMSTYLE "Apply" and select the existing dimensions.
Any new text objects will reflect the height assignment of either
of the two modes shown above.
