There's probably as many answers to this as there are people who will respond here.

 

Are these truly standard details, meaning that they are set in stone and not changing?

If so, then you could ensure each one is a block in a standard drawing, then insert them into your working drawings using DesignCenter or from SSM, if you need the automation provided there.

 

If these details are subject to change over the life of a project, then perhaps xref-ing them in would be a solution since your changes to these details would automatically be incorporated into your working drawings. In this case you'd probably want there to be a point where you commit those details to the set. You probably don't want changes you do in the future to be reflected in a set of drawings that were completed in the past.
