autocad keeps crashes
Hello
I am working on a super important project for my school and my file keeps crashes. I used RECOVER as well and it said there are no any errors in the file.
I am frustrating, every 10-15 min it is stuck and I have to re-open the file.
Please help me with this. I am exhausted by this

Hi,
>> and my file keeps crashes
If this only happens with this file you might try to use copy & paste to copy the geometry to a new dwg-file and continue with this file.
Also make sure your AutoCAD is updated (you can share a screenshot of command _ABOUT so we can see if your AutoCAD is updated).

Hello
thank you for your kind replay.
I am a student
this is my first project and therefore I cannot know if it happens in other files.
My version is 2017 for students
is there any chance that I have downloaded a block, inserted it to my file, that can contains something that makes my file crashes?
thank you again.

Hello
thank you very much for your replay!!!
this actually helped, it is not crashes anymore.. but a little difficult to work like this.. sometimes it is hard for him to recognize the snaps.. I mean it takes a few seconds.
does this make any sense?
Does it mean something about my computer? That now it is working fine after turning off this bottom you mentioned?
thank you!!!!

Hi,
>> I cannot know if it happens in other files.
Then create a new file, draw some lines, save/close/reopen it ... what happens?
You can also load a lot of DWG-files from Internet, just to test.
We need to identify if it's
- your system
- your AutoCAD
- your AutoCAD profile
- your drawing
>> is there any chance that I have downloaded a block,
>> inserted it to my file, that can contains something
>> that makes my file crashes?
Yes, that is possible.
You can use command _AUDIT for a first check of your file
Open question from my side: screenshot of command _ABOUT

Try updating that driver and see if that helps. Autodesk also lists drivers they support over here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/certified-graphics-hardware
