So you're saying that at some point, F1 is executing the 'endp transparent osnap, then it just reverts to its default call to HELP?

Exactly that.

all the other F-Key overrides (Transparent O-Snaps) that I've assigned work fine, it's just F1 that (often) malfunctions!

After starting a new line from a free point to the end of another line (or node of another polyline), I want to be able to press F1 to get my Endpoint-Osnap activated, so that AutoCAD doesn't let me accidently pick a different snap point (in case there were also midpoints, intersections, centre points etc all within close proximity of the single Endpoint that I was aiming at). Upon pressing F1, even though I've assigned it to endpoint in the CUI, up pops the help window, killing 5 seconds until i get it closed. AutoCAD however has then subsequently activated the endpoint osnap, so it looks like it's not forgotten the CUI override, but rather just forgotten to ignore the original assignment of F1 (help), so it does both.

PS: It happens in both new and old drawings, in freshly opened and longer opened sessions, with AutoCAD versions 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 and now 2020.
