Anyone know why this weird thing happens? CAD bug?

Hello,

I have 3 plans in model space that are prefectly fine but when I go to paper space, inside my viewport, the plans are all out of whack! I have notations for coffee tables, side tables and ottomans that are on top of the item in model space but in paper space, they are above the plans. Also, one of my plans has somehow moved down below the other two. I will attach photos. Anyone know why this happens??

Google for 'How to make a Screenshot' :cara_con_una_leve_sonrisa:

We can not see your UCS Icon,

but i guess your in model or paperspace viewport is not right

and your model objects are not on one z plane.

Inside your paperspace Viewport:

Command : UCS world

PLAN world

Hi,

i wish that we have your CAD drawing file for testing . BUT let's check the view reality of your model elements by typing UCS then select World then type PLAN command and hit Enter twice  . now you will see how really your model space elements look like .

Command: UCS
Current ucs name: *WORLD*
Specify origin of UCS or [Face/NAmed/OBject/Previous/View/World/X/Y/Z/ZAxis] <World>: w
Command: PLAN

Enter an option [Current ucs/Ucs/World] <Current>: PLAN

You have many objects in MS at an elevation other than zero.  Get those all on the same z elevation.

Also, you need to lose the bathroom fixtures that have way too many objects in them.  The shower head has about 1600 and the (I think valve handle) has more that that.  Also the wall tile is not a hatch and has way too many objects to show the tile.  Redraw those fixtures where you probably only need 6-10 objects to describe then, and not thousands.  Use a hatch pattern or only show a portion of the tile.

Hi,

The problem is due to the objects are at elevation.

To fix this use the command "FLATTEN" and select the object and then press enter=> remove hidden lines" <NO>.(it would take little longer time than expected)

Then use the command "PLAN" and then select "Current UCS"
