I was looking at the large icons in the ribbon that come with AutoCAD 2020. They look really good. The arcs and circles are really smooth.
Is Autodesk starting with larger images than 32x32 and then taking advantage of the RIBBONICONRESIZE sysvar?
I know if I start my icons at 32x32, the arc smoothness will never get to the current product icon smoothness. Not even with antialiasing.
Thanks,

That's the best approach.

Yep - exactly. Drew up a 128x128 PNG file with a transparent background out of Photoshop and tossed it on a button, and voila! Silky smooth.
