Copying Dims - Appear huge

Hi All,

Having some issues copying dims, whereby the dims appear massive in the drawing i am copying into.

Assume it is some sort of variable i need to change but i cannot figure out what.

I am trying to copy from 'FGHJ 101' into 'FH-01'.

I would be grateful for any advice. Thanks

It sounds like your CANNOSCALES in modelspace are set differently from one drawing to the other. Is this the case?

If by some odd chance my nattering was useful -- that's great, glad to help. But if it actually solved your issue, then please mark my solution as accepted :cara_con_una_leve_sonrisa:

You use annotative dimensions.
You appear to be copying annotative dims from a 1:100 scale viewport to a 1:50 scale viewport, and the dims are just not auto-resizing? They do here with your two files, but you can simply fix that b y setting ANNOAUTOSCALE to 4 in all of your DWG files (or rescale the viewport to 1:1 then bck to 1:50).

Hi,

Just after copying the drawing into "FH-01" select one dimension and then right click and select similar. Now open up the properties(ctrl+1) and then under the header "text" reduce "text height" to 1.
