Hi!
My colleague have a problem with shapes in custom line types.
The shapes is working fine in the new dwg until he xref an old dwg (2-3 years old) and then the shapes disappears untill I restart autocad and does not open the old file.
The line type folder is in 'Support File Search Path' in OPTION.
I have tried, deleting everything, purge all, AUDIT och reload line types but nothing seems to work.
I have also purge and AUDIT the old dwg files as well.
Does someone know a solution?
I attached the two files.
Best regards Simon

Both the files posted by you seems to be Empty. But when I RECOVER opened the files NEW-DWG file had 1 error shown. So I recommend you to RECOVER open both your files save it and then see if the problem persists.

So.. there is NO problem with your custom line type .

go back to this old dwg and try to RECOVER it and clean it from any unused objects .

Hi,
sounds like some similar thread here (which I don't find, sorry).
But the solution was to use copy & paste the entities into a new drawing and so get rid of that one dwg-file which created these issues.
