I need to learn how to scale...

Working for the engineering department for the Kellogg's Company, I have never used AutoCAD much.

Attached is a particular example of a CAD drawing that won't sit on a full 11x17 page because I can't figure out how to scale it properly to do so when outputting the file to PDF to then print.

Could someone explain this to me. Every time I try to scale the page cuts off or is far too small

Thanks

If you want your drawing scaled properly, you need to use a viewport and assign a scale to it that will fit on your sheet.  If you just want to fill the page, and your not concerned with having a scaled drawing to measure off of, then you can follow the advice from @slphantom
