smart track projection lines, anyone?
Let me quickly say this;
I genuinely appreciate how active and responsive this forum is. It's exceptionally inspiring to hope that maybe one day, even my peasant IQ can somehow captain autocad.
If anyone is familiar with Rhino, Rhino has something called " SmartTrack"
If i could find something to work similar to this It would be great!
I've been poking around drafting options and polar trackings and not made much progress.
I've also been scouring forums and I've found just
I would love to have some help from CAD in predicting where I want to draw some lines,
I work in architecture, so nearly all of my lines are orthogonal. thank you, thank you
*offers a basket of fruit and wine to the autocad Gods* help please! XD

)Hi,
as much as i know that SmartTrack in Rhino will keep active your tracks blips (+) to do the next command , in AutoCAD Object snap tracking ( F11 ) works in conjunction with object snaps ( F3 ) , while working with object tracking the a small blips (+) will appear BUT it will all disappear after making your active command . SO i'm sure that your issue will be served well if you use well object snaps and Object snap tracking together .
All the best ... ![]()
