Hi and Welcome to AutoCAD Forum,

Things to remind:

You can quickly cycle through the isometric planes by pressing Ctrl+E.
You can cycle through the isometric planes by pressing Fn-F5.

Have you enabled Isometric snap in Drafting Settings window before trying to change Isoplane?
