One technique with CAD is to use layers to control what you want to see. So you can draw as much detail as you like in any drawing whether a plan or detail drawings. But place various level of details in to different layer groups. Then use vplayer freeze certain layer groups to not show up in a pspace vport. Then you won’t get a muddy mess of a drawing when you print the wall section vs a blowup of the same wall section.
