Trying to constrain entire drawing

I am having trouble fully defining a drawing in AutoCAD for Mac. I have an entire building drawn out and thought it was all dimensioned and constrained, but I added a block and a construction line that I want to be able to constrain so that the line passes through the corner of the building and is collinear with the side of the block. I want the line to remain constrained to the corner even when the block is moved. Instead, whenever I move the block, only the building outer perimeter moves and everything inside stays in place causing the drawing to be wrong. I will attach images below to show what I mean.

Hi @lindsey_mitchellHJMKC ,

Without having your drawing at hand it is impossible to answer your question.

Can you share this drawing?

Hi @lindsey_mitchellHJMKC ,

This is because these objects:

are not constrained with restrictions with other plan objects.
