Selection cycle

Hi

I'm currently using AutoCAD Mac for 2 months on a m2 mini.

It works well, like really well.

One of the only downside compared with the windows version, that I used for 15 years, is the selection cycle.

It's not very convenient to use keyboard and hope to select the right element.

In addition, when you move your cursor to stacked elements, a little window with informations appear.

Is something will be do about this ?

I don't know if it's possible to display a window with choices on Mac like on Windows version.

Thanks

Hi @Hydro88 ,

This small dialog window is not available on Mac.

But you can still use selection cycling with the method described >>>>HERE<<<<.

Hi

Thanks for your reply. I find that this method isn't accurate.

The first problem for me is the selection cycle option isn't activate by default. I must ctrl +w to activate it on every dwg.

The second problem is that I have a lot of dwg with the same polyligne on different layer that are superpose.

So every time I want to select one of the polyligne, I just press a lot of time shift + space and click and hope to select the right one.

I don't know if for the next version of autocad for mac it's possible to do something about that. I see windows for block attribut so maybe it will be possible to use a keyboard shortcut to display a window of overlapping objects.
