Plot Style Issues

Hi Everyone,

I'm having issues with my Autocad Mac Software (I'm used to Autocad Windows, and moving to Mac I find it difficult to troubleshoot)

My plot Style Colours have disappeared and I have uninstalled Autocad 2023 and reinstalled 2024. I also can't create a plot style because there are no colours visible to create it in the plot style manager.

I've attached the DWG file as well as screenshots of the problem.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Andrew.RobinsonXU922 ,

Your drawing was created from the Template with Named Plot Style (STB).

If this was done intentionally and you need a drawing with Named Plot Style, then you can find colors here:

You can't edit Normal Plot Style, you can edit Style 1 or if you need you can create new Style with + button at the bottom of the Plot Style list.

@Andrew.RobinsonXU922 Your screenshot shows you are trying to create an STB plot style table (also found in Windows versions of AutoCAD): but it sounds like you've never used anything other than a CTB plot style table perhaps (also used/found in Windows and Mac versions of AutoCAD).

And if you never knew it before today, a DWG file only looks and can use one of those at a time. But MAC versions of AutoCAD cannot convert a DWG from STB to CTB, you sort of have to do it the long way as described here
