Having Trouble Turning off Parametrics -AutoCad 2022
I am currently using Autocad 2022 on an older Macbook, taking a class in AutoCad. I'm having an issue where 2-D rectangles are gluing themselves together at the snap points. I believe this is related to parametrics being set to on based on some research, but I can't figure out how to turn that setting off. Anyone have ideas?

You can try to remove all Parametric constraints: use menu Tools -> Parametric -> Delete Constraints.
When AutoCAD will ask to select objects, you can select rectangles and hit Return.
If you want to delete all constraints in the drawing, type ALL and hit Return when AutoCAD asks to select objects.
If you don't want to automatically apply geometric constraints while creating and editing geometric objects, verify that system variable CONSTRAINTINFER=0 from the command prompt or by looking at the Status Bar toggle:
