I am unable to open my autocad. My computer says that my director is locked

Steps to reproduce
I am trying to open my autocad and I get an error message saying: The directory may be locked by another process or has been set to Read Only. I have contacted customer support through email and they suggested clean uninstalling and then reinstalling. They also suggested going to my users, and setting everyone to Read&Write (I tried this and it says I don't have permission to do that). I don't know what to do.

Expected results
to be able to open and access my DWG files and PDF them.

Actual results
My AutoCAD is locked and won't let me open it & PDF.

URL where issue occurs
I don't know what you mean by this.

Have you tried shutting down your Mac completely and then turning it back on to see if that helps?

Did this suddenly occur? If yes, do you recall what might have changed prior to this problem?

Have you done Clean Uninstall and reinstallation after that?
