Unable to decide between imac m3 8gb or imac m3 16gb.

Hi i want to buy new imac with m3 chip for using autocad LT but i am confused as to buy which model because the standard models come with  10 core 10 gpu and 8gb ram which are readily available but if configure it to 16 gb it takes 2-3 months . Should i go with whats available which is 10core 8gb or should i configure it to 16gb and wait.

Is AutoCADLT the only software you will ever use regularly on this iMac?
You never want the "basic" config or a new machine

And if waiting is an option, then is is not a dire need, so only you get to decide what happens next.

I will be using autocad LT and sketch up but no rendering.

Hi @arshbrady ,

Anyway, 16 Gb is always better then 8 Gb.

Keep in mind that GPU on Silicon Macs uses shared memory.
