MTEXT highlight not showing
I'm having an issue that of course suddenly changed without input. When I select text in an MTEXT object, the highlighted area does not show. The text is in fact highlighted as it can be edited or deleted. However, there is no indication of what is highlighted. Highlight setting is on 1. Changing that to 0 and then back has no effect. Changing the color of highlight selection has no effect. I changed display to WYSIWIG and then changed the selection color which temporarily fixed the problem. Now it doesn't show again though. That also created issues with displaying the rulers...

I'm afraid you need to Reset AutoCAD.
Keep in mind that you will loose all your customization after Reset.
You can export settings before resetting, Reset AutoCAD and see if it helps to solve the problem. If the problem will not be solved, you can always import previously saved settings.

I also experience a separate issue with the rotated UCS and PLAN settings for hatches. When setting the origin, the hatch does not start in the expected location relative to the origin point. For instance, on the net hatch, setting the origin in the rotated UCS does not start the hatch on the grid intersection but rather some random point in the middle.

@novoseb ,
Can you share one of the drawings with this issue?
Looks like I cannot reproduce these problems on my side, maybe I misunderstood the conditions.

@novoseb ,
>>>>> I can't share the drawings in question as they contain proprietary information.
You can erase everything except Mtext object and Hatch, PURGE daring and attach it here.

Hi Ben,
Try this:
- open one of the drawings with this problem
- set Linetype property for layer Defpoints to Continuous:
- now try to edit Mtext
Are you able to see selection highlight now?

Hi Ben,
1/ I noticed that there are PROXY objects in your drawing from Civil 3D:
2/ There is something wrong with UCS in the drawing you shared and I believe in all other drawings with this problem.
Look:
If I set UCS icon to display at origin (command UCSICON with ORigin option) in your drawing I get the following:
- UCS icon (1) is faded for some reason. In all other drawings it appears clearly.
- Plus - UCS icon has a shape of WCS with small square at origin point, despite the fact that the current one is UCS (2)
- Plus - UCS icon is not displayed at the origin of UCS, if you draw line from 0,0 of the current UCS the first point of this line will be at a position marked with 3 on my screenshot.
