Compatibility with MacOS Sonoma

Hello. I wanted to know if AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT for Mac are already compatible with next week MacOS Sonoma release, or if there is an update in progress.

Thanks!

Hi @hugotron ,

All current AutoCAD for Mac / AutoCAD LT for Mac versions (2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024) are not officially supported on upcoming macOS Sonoma.

You'll need to wait for new Updates before moving to Sonoma.

According to Autodesk policy, Updates must come for the latest three versions of AutoCAD for Mac - 2022, 2023 and 2024.

I believe the Updates will be released just before or shortly after Sonoma's release.

Hi @hugotron ,

AutoCAD for Mac 2024 received 2024.1 Update, which fixes compatibility issues with macOS 14 Sonoma and improves user experience and overall stability of the product.

If you wish to upgrade to macOS Sonoma and want to use AutoCAD for Mac, you need to install this Update at first.

Hello. I am in LT and it works with no problems. I’m not a power user anyway. But smooth experience.

I have AutoCAD LT for Mac and when I go to the download page it says none are available.  I'm confused.  See clip attached

Thanks,

Jeff

This link is the notes for the update but I do not see where the actual update is. I do not know where to look. Please excuse my blindness but any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff

Thank you for your reply but where exactly on that page should I look for it? I attach a pdf of the page.  I very much appreciate you pointing me to it.

Looks like it got pulled by Autodesk. You'll have to wait for a repost from them, it might not be good to use if you find it anywhere else for now anyway.

Hi Jeff,

@JEFFJW9BB

It is strange, but I also don't see Update if I open "View details" under "All Products and Services" -> "AutoCAD for Mac".

Try to select "Product Updates" on the left side - I can see this Update there:

@JEFFJW9BB

You can also use "Check for Updates" from "AutoCAD LT" menu - please check that you enable "bubble" notifications for AutoCAD in macOS System settings before checking Updates inside AutoCAD.

The Alerts should be selected I notifications settings:

Very true! you must actually click that box on the right.  It is not clear because they all look turned on.

Many thanks (again)!
