AutoCAD Mac Venn - CTB not displaying in Layout viewports
Hello
As you can see, I am using a .ctb Plot Style.
I have "display plot styles" in my layout Plot Settings.
When I make a line directly on the layout page, the plot style is displayed correctly.
When I make a viewport on the same page, it will not display my plot styles in the layout tab. Even after regenall.
The remain the color that the layer is labeled.
It seems I can use a true color on the layer and change the colors of the displayed or printed lines, but that is not the purpose of the .ctb.
I am aware that .stb is preferred, however I am working with a lot of legacy .ctb files.
Please advise.

I followed other directions to copy/paste the information into a new drawing created on a .ctb template, which led to the results I described in my original post.
When I opened a new file using the basic acad.dwt, my .ctb plot style displays correctly in the viewport on a layout page. I am happy I now know the reason.

Hi @kristinabhalter ,
the reason that AutoCAD does not show plot styles in the viewport is that the viewport Visual Style is set to "Realistic":
Plot Styles can be displayed and plotted only in 2D Wireframe Visual style.
