Looking for similar feature to Step and Repeat in Illustrator
Autocad LT for Mac.
We do a lot of drawings with really simple features. But something we do a lot of is placing copper rivets on a band. The way this is done now is place one rivet .5" from one end, and another .5" from the other end. Then taking the dim between the two centers, and dividing by a number we think will look for for spacing of the rivets. The copy coordinates 0,0, paste coordinates of whatever the divided number is. Paste again at twice the number, again and thrice the number and so forth.
In illustrator, you could select the starting point and ending point, give it a number of say 5 instances, and it would automatically step and repeat the item 5 times at equal distances.
Does something like this exist in autocad LT?

Not an AutoCAD/LT feature without extra steps by the user like perhaps setting SNAP then use COPY or example, or ARRAY command or... .

Maybe DIVIDE command with Block option?
