A new glitch (?). AutoCAD LT for Mac; in paperspace, trying to rename a layout is not working. I select the tab, right click, select rename, and it won't let me put one in. I've also tried by typing the 'layout' command, selecting rename, and the same result (except then it says the new name I'm asking for is not available).
Anyone else experiencing this? Advice on how to fix? Goodness knows, we've all renamed layouts before...nothing too complicated.
Thanks,

Hi @crlarchitect ,
Can you show the exact output in the command window when you are trying to rename layout with LAYOUT command?

Sure, thanks!
Here is what happens when I try to simply right click on a tab to rename:
It rolls through this command and response series without giving me a chance to do input.
When trying to do it through entering the 'layout' command directly, and then putting in a layout/sheet name, here is the command stream:
Any help is much appreciated!

Hi @crlarchitect ,
At first - about the case when you use LAYOUT command.
You are missing one step - you need to confirm which layout you want to rename:
Command: LAYOUT
Enter layout option [Copy/Delete/New/Template/Rename/SAveas/Set/?] <set>: r
Enter layout to rename <Layout1>: <---Hit Return here to confirm that you want to rename layout with "Layout1" name
Enter new layout name: A-101
Layout "Layout1" renamed to "A-101".
Command:
About the first issue.
When I right-click on Layout tab and select "Rename":
AutoCAD opens text field, where I put new name:
Now I hit Return and get Layout renamed:
Do you use the same steps?
You can also double-click on Layout tab name to start renaming it.

Thanks! I missed the obvious on telling AutoCAD what layout to rename.
This opportunity does not present itself when simply right-clicking on the layout tab. But, I am now able to do it manually.
Really appreciate the help!
