Crashing on block insertion
So I'm using AutoCAD LT 2023 for Mac - whenever I use the block insert command by either typing in "I" or clicking to access the blocks pallets, then if it is around about the 3rd time that I've used the command in a drawing session, then AutoCAD crashed and shuts down. Very frustrating - every time I'm about to insert a block now, I have to make sure the drawing is saved first, just incase.
I have a new (about a month old) MacBook M1 Pro, 32GB Ram, OS Ventura 13.0. It also used to do it with the previous (Mac OS version.

Hi @steviewo76 ,
Have you installed the last Update to your AutoCAD?
If you are not sure - use Check for Updates from menu AutoCAD.

Where are the blocks that you insert into the drawing located?
Are they already stored in the drawing or is it a new block from outside each time?
Have you tried to use CLASSICINSERT command instead of INSERT?

Hi - it does it with both blocks that are within the drawing and also blocks being inserted from elsewhere. So it does it as soon as I hit "i" then "enter" or as soon as I try to open the block pallet (before browsing to or selecting the block I want to insert). Note - it works ok for the first few times I try to insert a block in a drawing session.
Interestingly, I haven't tried using classic insert, but I'll do that for the rest of the day and see how I get on, thanks.

Looks like it is a problem related to the Blocks Palette and I believe CLASSICINSERT will work fine.
Do you have this problem from the very beginning or it starts accidentally?
If it starts accidentally - have you tried to Reset AutoCAD?
