I know this topic has been covered before, but after reading through the various responses, I'm still not getting anywhere. I have a design that will be sent of to the photo-etchers shortly. Last time I sent them something, I had issues with some of the text (numbers for labelling parts) moving into a different place. Advice from the etchers was to convert the text into curves, however I haven't found a way of doing this yet in AutoCAD 2023. The explode function doesn't seem to do anything.....any advice for a relative newby?

Thank you! I can see this could work. I guess there's no 'easy' way? i.e. select the text I want to convert to objects and click an icon/button somewhere?!

Yes, you are right. There is no easy way to "explode" text in AC for Mac.
