Looks like you missed a space between _-vports and_T. The macro should looks like:

 

^C^C_-vports _T 

don't forget to add space after _T too.

Yes, you cannot use alias for custom macro.

It is not possible to create shortcuts in 2020 version officially. But you can add custom command to the menu and then use macOS System Preferences to create shortcut for it.
